A: Every patient begins with an in-depth assessment that explores lifestyle, sleep, stress, nutrition, movement, environment, medications, supplements, and baseline cognitive and physical measures. All visits are virtual-friendly.

A: Care is delivered virtually through physician visits, health coaching sessions, and secure follow-up communication within your membership.

A: Many patients notice early improvements within weeks, such as better energy, sleep, or mental clarity. Deeper metabolic and cognitive changes typically develop over months, sometimes it can take up to a year or longer depending on the individual, testing results, and treatment needs.

  • Q: What is the role of health coaching?

A: Health coaching focuses on translating your personalized plan into daily routines using behavioral neuroscience, habit-building, and motivation-based strategies.

  • Q: What types of testing do you offer?

A: Testing is personalized and may include advanced metabolic labs, inflammation markers, micronutrients, environmental exposure screening, Alzheimer’s-related biomarkers (when appropriate), and genetic testing (3X4 Genetics).

A: A 3X4 Genetics panel provides actionable insights that help personalize nutrition, supplements, and lifestyle strategies based on how your body processes nutrients, stress, inflammation, and neurotransmitters.

A: No. Testing is always optional and discussed in advance, aligned with your goals, preferences, and budget.

DEMENTIA AND MOOD CARE

A: A: Marathon Wellness focuses on prevention, risk reduction, and early intervention. For patients with mild cognitive impairment or early changes, we provide longitudinal monitoring and integrative care. Our services are meant to complement and not replace conventional neurology care.

  • Q: Do you work with mood concerns?

A: Yes. We support patients with depression, anxiety, stress-related symptoms, and emotional regulation challenges using an integrative brain–metabolic framework. Our care is meant to complement and not replace psychiatry or traditional therapy services.

  • Q: How is my privacy protected?
PRIVACY, LOGISTICS, AND NEXT STEPS

A: Marathon Wellness uses a secure, HIPAA-compliant electronic medical record (EMR). Your information is protected and never shared without your consent.

  • Q: Is there a screening process before joining?

A: No. Marathon Wellness is a membership-based practice and does not bill insurance, allowing for longer visits, more personalized care, and more advanced laboratory testing that is not available in most conventional medical practices or through insurance-based model of care.

  • Q: Is this insurance based?

A: Yes. All prospective patients are offered a free 15-minute conversation with our provider team to ensure a good fit and select the most appropriate membership option.

1:1 In-depth intake and routine follow-up care that focuses on the following:

Genetic Testing Interpretation with Actionable Results

  • Testing via simple cheek swab

  • Optional focus on additional pathway results including cellular, metabolic, cardiovascular, exercise, over time

  • Consider diet, exercise, lifestyle and supplement strategies that support your genetic profile

Routine Exams & Laboratory Review

Assessment of routine specialized labs, personalized testing may include:

  • Advanced lipid testing

  • Insulin sensitivity testing

  • Blood-based biomarker testing for Alzheimer's risk assessment

  • Omega fatty acid panels

  • Toxin screening

  • Vitamin and mineral testing including magnesium, copper, zinc and nutritional lithium biomarkers

  • Methylation status

  • AM nitric oxide screen

  • Organic Acid Testing (OAT)

  • Drinking water testing (optional)
