Promote your healthspan on the marathon trail of life

Do you care about your brain health and mental wellbeing?

Do you feel that conventional medical approaches have limitations?

My rigorous medical school and graduate training left many questions unanswered regarding my clinical interests in the mind and brain.

After more than a decade of medical practice helping thousands of patients in need of neurologic rehabilitation and recovery, I decided to look further.

I completed the two-year Andrew Weil Integrative Medicine Fellowship and became Board Certified in Integrative Medicine. I also became a certified diplomate of the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine. I completed post-graduate certificate training in mindfulness-based stress reduction, breathwork, metabolic health, nutritional psychiatry, and functional genomics. I have gained profound insights that I hope to share with others.

I completed my medical training at the University of Chicago and Northwestern University. During my residency, I served as Chief Resident of the nation's leading rehabilitation hospital, the Shirley Ryan Ability Lab, and won an Outstanding Teacher of the Year Award.

I have served in various leadership roles including Medical Director of Rehabilitation Services at a large hospital system and Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Chicago.

Prior to completing my medical degree, I published research in the field of mind-body medicine that attracted international media attention. As an undergraduate at the University of Pennsylvania, I studied animal cognition, with a focus on dolphin and whale intelligence, sensory abilities, and communication.
